Who We Are

Park Avenue Catering was founded by Chef Bruce Riezenman, who built the company on the basic principle of good ingredients = a good product.

He took catering to the next level. Besides being an extraordinary Culinary Institute of America trained chef, he understood what it took to create an off-premise fine dining experience without the benefit of a climate-controlled commercial kitchen, conquering logistical challenges, sourcing locally and seasonally, supporting artisans and farmers, developing food & wine pairings and ultimately creating exceptional culinary event experiences. He managed the ebbs and flows of a seasonal business through historical global events, the effects of climate change and the pandemic.  Bruce led and mentored a team that supported his vision, and who worked hard with equal passion for food & hospitality.

The foundational elements still remain, and what continues to grow and thrive, is a partnership team that includes renowned Chef Ari Weisswasser, Operations Manager, Josue Villalobos and Director of Sales, Dianne Martin.  

Together, with their leadership and support of an extraordinary team, we continue to provide our clients and partners with a higher level of service and food experiences.
