Vendor Meals & Policies
We offer three options for vendor meals:
Room temperature boxed vendor meal, includes a salad, protein, starch and dessert available anytime for vendors. This meal is prepared at our kitchen and arrives ready to serve.
Hot Vendor Buffet, minimum guest count is 10. This is set up back-of-house for vendors.
Same meal as guests -please note that this meal is prepared off the line, and cannot be served until dinner service
Park Avenue provides the venue staff with up to 3 vendor meals. Any additional venue staff should be counted separately.
Please identify all vendors who will require a meal by considering the following roles:
Planning team: How many?
Photographer, Videographer & Assistants?
DJ: + Assistant(s)?
Shuttle Drivers & Parking Attendants ? – even if a meal is not required in their contracts, they always come into the kitchen hoping for a meal.
Nannies, Musicians, Animal handlers, Entertainers?
Band: How many musicians? Manager? Sound tech? Equipment team?
Volunteers
Any additional support team members who should be covered?
Some reminders:
Include a vendor buffet table with linen on your rental order.
If you'd like vendors to use china and flatware, please add those items to your rental order, otherwise, we will default to disposable plates, flatware, and napkins.
Please build vendor meal timing into your event timeline - this is super helpful for both chefs & captain, especially if we need to set up a buffet
Do you need non-alcoholic beverages for vendors? We do not service any beverages from the bar.
Tray-passed hors d'oeuvres are paid for by the client and are not intended for vendor consumption during service. Please help us uphold this boundary so we can deliver what has been promised to our clients.
