Site Inspections & Planning

We highly recommend including us for necessary site visits and final planning meetings, especially at a venue that we have never worked at before, or at logistically challenging properties. This way we are able to access all the behind the scenes info needed for load in, staff parking, kitchen set up, rental delivery drop locations, event flow and space recommendations for reception, dining and dancing. For booked clients, we include one site visit at no charge, and often will include our Production Coordinator to assist us with this meeting.

It may be necessary to schedule a site visit prior to booking an event at a private residence or estate, in order to assess if it is viable for us to cater an event at the property. We charge for these site visits, a minimum of $300 (non-refundable). We will review access for our catering truck/s & staff, staff parking, safety and logistics.

Site visits are not necessary for all events, especially if it's a venue we work on a regular basis, or if you are managing all rentals, plus the set up/breakdown of the event areas. 

Regardless of the location, we will want to schedule at minimum, a final detail meeting either over the phone/virtually or via email to answer any pending questions, or to go over questions and timeline.

We include up to 6 hours of planning time in our contracts, should the amount of time exceed our standard time, additional event production fees will be charged. This includes extensive email communication, excessive changes within the last two weeks, additional in-person or virtual meetings required, and additional planning time for our on-site team.
